When The Day Met The Night-PrussiaxReader

When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night

Normal would not suffice to describe the day, normal was simply short to do so, especially on a day such as that one had been. The sky seemed to be shining in pure light, even with its clear blue appearance it seemed as if the suns golden rays were painting the sky and the clouds gold, the tranquil color and the one of riches mixing in harmony and creating a gorgeous light that spread at around.

When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer

It was days like toes in with _____ enjoyed a nice cup of tea in the garden that her grandfather worked hard on keeping. Just like he had once done with his old and deceased wife, he still maintained the garden in her memory, not feeling remorseful upon her death, in fact he felt happy on thinking that she was in a better place. _____ found comfort in that as well as she thought about it.
The wind blew and rustled the ever green leaves of the trees above her of with were acting like umbrellas, shielding the rays coming from the sun and creating a cool shade, much to her delight of course, even if she loved the sun like it was part of her soul, she enjoyed shade on a hot summers day such as so. The wind kissing her (s/c) skin in gentle caresses as she enjoyed her tea, all was peaceful as she looked at the small rode that passed in front of the house.

It was a small town where their main way of making money was agriculture, most of the towns people making an honest day’s living on selling things that they could grow like flowers, vegetables and thing of the likes, as well as anything they could make, pies, jam, honey jam and more. Life there was simple and happy, there wasn’t more to ask for, everyone new everyone and when a new comer came for a visit they were treated with kindness.
Being that things around there didn't change much she was surprised when she saw a peculiar group of young men pass in front of her grandfather’s house, six men around her age, a blonde man with sky blue eyes was talking and commenting among them, by his accent she would tell he was French, one was from Hispanic decent, it was easy to tell with his tan skin and brown hair that seemed to slightly curl, one had dark brown hair as well only within his hair was a unruly curl with was placed on the left of his head, he had a sour exprecion with his brown eyes scrunched in annoyance, next to him was a similar boy only his hair was different with it being  auburn and having the same curl to the right, he and the earlier being brothers obviously, he seemed to be hyperactively talking to another blond with blue eyes, only his eyes were crystal clear and his skin very pale, he appeared to be European, probably from the colder side, and lastly there was a man with the palest skin she’d ever seen, and hair that almost appeared to match the silver color of the moon when it shown in the dark night sky, his eyes seemed to be red, which was quite surprising to her until she deducted that he was probably an albino.
_____ knew three of these men them being the Hispanic one and the two brothers, them being Antonio, Romano and Feliciano, she knew them since they had a small summer home in town and there family always loved to buy flowers from her grandfather. She didn't know them all that well but she didn't mind they’re company, most of the time putting up with Romano’s foul language and Feliciano’s never ending bubbly energy.
She didn't bother in saying hello since she could tell they were obviously showing their friends around town. She didn't give it second thought and just went back to enjoying her tea and the sweet smell of the many flowers in the garden.

A small smile on her face as she felt happy, though she couldn’t tell why.

When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer

Gilbert wasn’t having an awesome time unlike the rest of his friends and ever brother, he was actually somewhat depressed, all the peace and tranquility that this had given him the perfect opportunity to thing and reflect on his life, on all of his insecurities, all the people he had hurt in the past, on his childhood friend Frits and even on how he un-awesomely hurted women with his playing ways. It was something he hadn’t truly reflected on in a while but that place was making it easy to think about things, his young lived life of only nineteen years of age.

To him his life was not truly important as he would never admit something strange since he always proclaimed to be ‘The awesome Gilbert’. He might have good friend but they didn't understand what he was feeling, not that e would bother telling them since he was far to awesome to talk about his feelings and maybe he had his younger brother but he was independent and never truly needed his help, knowing pretty much what to do since the young age of eleven.

The red eyed man couldn’t thing straight with all of his friends hanging around him, standing up and leaving the house, he said a quick.

“I'm going on a walk, don’t miss me too much”

Without looking back he started walking along the path to the small river that Antonio had shown him the first day he had been there.

Now alone he could clear his mind properly, all in his head was not positive, in fact it was the other way around, his was thinking in all the fault in his life and all the pain he had both gone and caused. It didn't help that he had recently been dumped by probably the one woman he truly loved, it hadn’t just been a casual relationship whit her, he was actually trying to please her in this relationship, trying to be their perfect man in her eyes and showing affection in the best way he could.
But he guessed it wasn’t enough since he still got his sorry ass dumped bay what was probably the only woman he loved.
Oh how her words still stung him. Elizebeta could be cold, even colder than him sometimes. Gilbert still couldn’t see how she would prefer the pianist Austrian Rotherich over himself.
Torture, those thought were pure torture that he could no longer take.

But his thoughts were interrupted though by a small humming nearby. Picking up his head to actually look ahead of himself he would he a (h/c) girl around his age. She seemed to be playing with some flowers, from what he could tell. Suddenly she looked up upon feeling watched and she was meant with the crimson eyes looking at her from a couple of meters away. Gently she smiled at him and when back to making a small flower crown as she did whenever she had the chance, it was her way of clearing her mind of just relaxing. she didn't know who he was nor why he was looking at her, she only knew that he was probably a friend of Antonio’s and that he looked like he could use a smile, instead of doing what was probably the normal thing and giving him a look of annoyance and ignoring him rudely.
Gilbert stood there for a small while, frozen in place by her (e/c) eyes that with the help of the sun’s rays seemed to have an undertone of gold.

He felt his cheeks turn warm and he quickly turned around and went back from where he came from. All thoughts of sadness completely falling from his mind as he did so and them having been replaced with a warm and friendly smile with eyes that captivated him upon fist glance.

In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, summer, summer, summer
All was golden when the day met the night

A couple of days had passed since that incident and the self proclaimed Prussian was still thinking about it. He didn't know who she was and he didn't dare in asking Antonio, no he could find out who she was himself.

“Hey, Amigo!”

Exclaimed The Spanish man as he approached the one with red eyes, in his hands a basket filled with red tomatoes that he had cultivated.

“Do you think you can take these to the flower shop? Old man (last name) wants these in exchange for some flowers I wanted” Toni said with a smile on his face. Seeing as he had nothing better to do Gilbert agreed without trouble and was on his way. He still couldn’t get that girls smile out of his head.

Entering the shop he walked to the counter and rung the small bell that was on the counter.

_____ had been in the back of the shop as she took care of some carnations that had been freshly picked that morning. She herd he small bell and went to the front of the shop while saying, not even looking at who was there.

“Pap’s not here at the moment, what is it that you need?”

Seeing that usually her grandfather attended to costumers while she attended to the flowers it was what she always said when she had to deal with costumers. She looked up and saw the familiar silver-like hair and a bright smile unconsciously made its way on to her lips.

“Hey there” she greeted as she casually leaned on the counter.

The albino smiled even with his shocked state. He really wasn’t expecting her to be working there. But as he assumed most young adults in town had a job in small family shops. Getting over his previous state the Prussian rouse the basked saying “Antonio sent be here to give this to old man (l/n), I'm guessing he's your…Granddad?”

His assumptions were right as she said

“(f/n) (l/n), it’s nice to meet you”

“The awesome Gilbert Beilschmidt” he said and put the basket on the counter “uh Toni said that there were some flowers in exchange for these tomatoes”

“Oh yeah” she said and went to the back of the store and picked up a big bouquet of red carnations. Setting it on in front of him commenting simply “Here you go, picked them this morning myself” she giggled a bit and took the basket, placing it behind the counter.

So he said, "Would it be all right
If we just sat and talked for a little while
If in exchange for your time
I give you this smile?"

Gilbert didn't leave and simply sat on a stool that was simply lying around. Feeling sad that he would have to leave already with barely even talking to her. He wanted to get to know her, he didn't know why but he just did and who was he to go against himself?

“I’m not in a hurry; would it be alright if we talked for a little while?”

She thought about it and said jokingly “You’d be taking away my time to attend to costumers, and wouldn’t even be buying anything”

He knew that ______ was playing coy buy the smile on her face, it making him have his own smile in fact.

“In exchange for your time I can give you a smile”

He said showing her his pearly whites and laughing a bit at her small blush.

______ laughed along with him, it dint take time for them to spark up a conversation. They were enjoying the others company, it was like they felt a connection that was destined to be there.

So she said, "That's okay
As long as you can make a promise
Not to break my little heart
Or leave me all alone in the summer."

Ever since that day they both would meek nearly every day in that flower shop. On the days where she didn't have to work they would take a walk around of even hang out by the lake.

They made a silent promise as to not let the other be alone in the summer. A promise that they keep without trouble.

_____ was easily enchanted by him and Gilbert had to admit that it felt as if a spell had been casted upon him, not that he minded, she was gorgeous. Especially at the moment in with they were looking out to the lake, Gil’s back against a tree with ____ between his legs as she rested her back against his well toned chest. She was subconsciously making a small flower crown and they both took in the site of nature, the sun’s late golden rays where shining on the lake, a blanket of gold showering the landscape.

Gilbert admired her as she looked out to the lake, her hair was settled perfectly and it seemed to shine with the nearly fading light, with (e/c) orbs that could hypnotize him with each glance that was sent his way.

“You’re beautiful” he said kissing the crown of her head and tightening his grip around her.

“And you’re perfect” she responded laying her head on his chest and leaning up to kiss cheek lovingly.

Well he was just hanging around
Then he fell in love
And he didn't know how
But he couldn't get out
Just hanging around
Then he fell in love

It was funny how this all started, he was just trying to clear his mind and it ended up in him falling in love with the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.

He didn't know how and once he fell he couldn’t fine the way to get out. In the end he didn’t fight it and just let it be, it turned out much better than he expected.

In the middle of summer was when he and _____ had fallen in love, true love, one that they could say was meant to be.

“I love you _____” he said as the day meant the night in a breath taking sunset. The sun being replaced with the moon and the stars as the sun disappeared seemingly in to the waters surface.
“I love you too Gil”

In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
